Meet the Coach!

“I love hockey and have been involved with the game most of my life. But I still haven’t outgrown the fun and the rewarding experience of seeing my students embrace the game.”

Rocky Saganiuk is recognized as one of the top youth development coaches in the Chicagoland area. He has been selected for Coach-of-the-Year honors by Illinois Hockey. His youth programs have drawn skaters from all over the Chicagoland area and are lovingly referred to as simply – “Rocky Hockey.”

Rocky Saganiuk was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. There he learned how to play and to love the game of hockey. His own experience in youth hockey formed the basis for his programs.

His positive experience with his mentors and coaches taught him that learning could and should be fun. “Hockey is the greatest game in the world and the ‘Little Huskies’ learn why. It’s exciting and fun”, says Rocky.
